Manifesto

Why we are rebuilding scientific publishing from the ground up.

Scientific knowledge belongs to the people who create it. For too long, the academic publishing system has asked researchers to surrender their copyright, pay to be read, and wait years for their work to reach the world. We believe that model is broken.

What we stand for

  • 100% author-owned copyright. You write it. You own it. Always.
  • Rigorous, transparent peer review. Quality is non-negotiable; the process should be open and accountable.
  • Blockchain-backed provenance. Every paper has a verifiable, immutable record of authorship, timestamp, and version.
  • Permanent, decentralized storage. Knowledge should outlive any single company or paywall.
  • Affordable and fast. Publishing should be measured in days, not years, and priced for researchers — not extractive intermediaries.
  • Interdisciplinary by default. Breakthroughs happen at the edges. Every field — from biotech to humanities to capstone projects — deserves a home.

Our promise

We are building a publisher where authors keep their rights, reviewers are recognized for their labor, and readers can access science without barriers. Whether you submit to The DeSci Journal or to the TCC Journal, you are participating in a community that treats your work as the public good it is.

Your ideas. Your terms. Your future.
